The Hoosier Hops & Harvest festival is brought to you by the Story Inn®. Every fall, we invite dozens of micro-breweries to display their wares in a unique and beautiful rural setting.

The Hoosier Hops & Harvest is, emphatically, not to be confused with that tired autumnal beer-guzzling event known as "Oktoberfest".  There will be no "Chicken Dance", and anyone caught wearing Lederhosen will be flogged.

Tickets are $30 and you must be 21 years or older to enter the festival. Tickets are non-refundable.

Schedule: Gates open at 1:00 pm.  Free two-ounce samples end at 6:00 pm. and beer is available for purchase by the glass from 1:00 - 6:00 pm. Music ends at 7:00 pm. The Hoosier Hops & Harvest will go on, rain or shine!  Parking is free.

It will be legal for you to imbibe on either side of the fence demarcating the festival premises from our serving premises.  We can legally furnish you with alcoholic beverages on either side of this fence.  But you may not cross this fence with an open container of alcohol; it must be securely concealed in your stomach.

We eschew intemperance, but Indiana law demands that you guzzle your beer under these circumstances. We kid you not.

The town of Story, Indiana, was founded with the grant of a land patent in 1851.  This quaint logging/farming community is nestled in the hills of southern Brown County, between the Brown County State Park and the Hoosier National Forest.  Today, the entire town of Story is a country inn, offering fine dining featuring local foods, historic overnight accommodations, and world-class wines and beers.  Learn more about the Story Inn at www.storyinn.com.
